Day 11: Why I love South Africa: So many places to visit: Kruger National Park Day 11

The Kruger National Park is a must see in South Africa. I’ve last visited this park in 2011. I’d like to share some of the pictures that I took on that trip.

They where very close!

Elephants can be very dangerous. So please be careful if they come so close and follow the safety instructions of the game reserve where you are.

Goodbye! See you soon.

Can you see the elephant….. me neither we only saw him when he moved from behind the bushes.

We also saw rhino’s which is a privilege as they are very endangered. I hope the poachers will be stopped soon.

Look at the mud on his body.

As a child we visited the Kruger at least once a year and when newly married, my husband and I made the trip at least once every couple of months as we lived close by. Just the name brings excitement to every bit of my body. There is no park like it in the world. Thanks for sharing so generously.

I haven’t been there many times. I think in my whole life I’ve visited it 3times. My husband used to live in Nelspruit so they went often. I grew up on the Botswana border so we went to Botswana often. Thank’s for stopping by!

I only visited Kruger once, but it was a blast. A beautiful park…and huge! My Dad had come to visit, and two hours in, he was like “Well, aren’t we almost through the park?” I just looked and him and laughed. He just didn’t get the size!

My husband and my oldest daughter have both been to South Africa and loved the animals. Hopefully, my turn will come.

    Fondly,
